Main Composition
The leaf filter is mainly composed of a housing, filter plates, filter screens, distribution devices, and residue discharge devices. Among these components, the filter screen serves as the core part of the leaf filter, its material and filtration precision directly determine the filtration performance. The filter leaves function to support the filter screens and distribute slurry, ensuring uniform spread of slurry across the filter screens.
Working Principle
This unit features a filter leaf filtration design. As oil flows into the filter leaves, solid contaminants are trapped, and clarified clean oil exits via the oil outlet. Once a filter cake builds up on the filter leaf surfaces, the top-mounted air-blowing assembly supplies compressed air to dry the filter residues. The unit then initiates vibration to dislodge the dry filter cake, enabling fully automatic sludge discharge whereby dry solid waste is evacuated from the bottom.
