Purification apparatus for turbine oil coalescence separation
In order to completely solve the problem of high water content in the oil in the hydraulic, lubrication and speed control systems of the steam turbine, our company adopts the "coalescence separation" dehydration technology to develop the coalescence separation oil filter. It integrates two functions of precision filtration and high-efficiency dehydration, and effectively removes particulate pollutants, emulsified water dissolved water, free carbon in oil, and the filtration precision can reach NAS4-6 level, realizing continuous operation and unattended operation, it has the superiority that pressure type, centrifugal type and vacuum type oil filter can't match.
There are two sets of filter elements with different functions inside the coalescing separator, a coalescing filter element and a separation filter element. When the oil flows through the coalescing separator, it goes through four process stages of filtration, coalescence, sedimentation, and separation to realize the functions of filtering out particulate dirt and removing water.
The oil first flows through the coalescing filter element from the inside to the outside. The coalescing filter element is made of special glass fiber and other synthetic materials with appropriate combination, specially formulated for turbine oil, and has good hydrophilicity. The coalescing filter element has the dual function of filtering particulate pollutants and coalescing water. The high-precision filter material in the inner layer first filters out the particulate pollutants in the oil: the outer demulsification coalescing layer coalesces the tiny water droplets in the oil into water droplets. The larger water droplets will settle to the sump by their own gravity, and the smaller water droplets will be carried by the oil and flow to the separation filter element before they settle down. The separation filter element is made of a specially treated stainless steel mesh, which has good water absorption. When the oil flows through the separation filter element from the outside to the inside, the small water droplets are effectively intercepted outside the filter element, allowing only the oil to pass through, not allowing the oil to pass through. The water passes through, thereby further separating the water.
The oil first filters out the particles in the oil from the coarse filter, and then enters the coalescing separator. In the coalescing separator, the oil goes through four processes of filtration, coalescence, settling and separation to realize the function of removing water, and finally output the purified oil. The water settling in the sump is drained through the automatic drain valve on the sump. At the same time, according to the oil quality, the oil can be directly filtered through the filter to remove the particulate pollutants in the oil, and then the purified oil can be output.
