Working principle and components
Coalescing separator filter element are used to filter out emulsified water particles and removal of particulate contaminants from hydrocarbon fuel. They are made with multi-layers microfiber glass material, can effectively remove out the particle and emulsified water from fluid.

Application
Coalescing separator filter cartridges I-644C5 are mainly used to coalesce emulsified water and remove particles from hydrocarbon fluids. The largest single application is the filtration of aviation jet fuel. Other types of fuels are also applied with, and also where natural gas is produced like petrochemical plants and condensate streams.
