Micro filtration unit
Twin filter unit mounted on a skid frame or twin wheeled upright trolley fitted with a gear pump and 220v or 110 volt motor with twin super duty filter units mounted on a manifold.
The electric controls consist of a mains isolator switch, on/off switch, red/green indicator lights and an optional pressure overload cut out switch. An integrated safety by pass valve, pressure gauge, sampling point are fitted as standard and the unit is also supplied with a minimess sampling tube, quick release couplings and 2 x 3 metre suction and return lines, supplied complete with new filter cartridges and ready to use. The twin unit rig will process approximately 600-1700 litres per hour dependant on the temperature and viscosity of the oil or diesel fuel. With polypropylene cartridges the unit can be used on water based oils and glycols. For Skydrol and phosphate ester oils different seals are fitted.

Oil Flow Rate: Output levels are dependent on viscosity, temperature and degree of contamination.
Filter cartridges are 3 micron absolute and will filter to 1 micron, and remove approx 1litre of water per cartridge and up to 2 kgs of dirt.
They are manufactured from tightly wound cellulose impregnated long fibre paper. Polypropylene cartridges are available to filter all water and glycol based oils and fluids. Based on a single housing the average life span under standard operating conditions is 200-250 hours of continuous use.

Filtration Level: Particulate contamination in accordance with BS 5540 part 4: 1981 and ISO/DIS 4406. ISO equivalent to NAS 1638 class 6.
