Particulate Removal: The filter medium blocks and traps fine solid particles, silt, rust, and scale down to 0.5 microns.

Coalescence: It coalesces (merges) tiny, dispersed water droplets suspended in the fuel into larger drops. These larger drops then settle by gravity to the bottom of the filter vessel.
