Product Details

PE sintered tube filter element (made of UHMW‑PE / HDPE) is a depth filtration component specially designed for brine sedimentation pretreatment. It is suitable for salt chemical industry, chlor‑alkali industry, salt lake lithium extraction and other scenarios. It is used to remove suspended particles, colloids, sediment and trace organic matters after brine sedimentation, protecting subsequent precision membrane / resin systems.

Core Material & Process

Material: Food‑grade UHMW‑PE / HDPE, non‑toxic, odorless, fiber‑free, binder‑free. Process: Powder high‑temperature sintering (120–140°C), 3D network gradient pore structure, uniform pore size, high strength, backwashable. Applicable Brine: Saturated / high‑salinity brine (NaCl, KCl, MgCl₂, etc.), pH 1–13, strong acid and alkali resistance.

Key Technical Parameters (Brine‑specific)

Connection Type Flat‑press / Insert (Φ36/Φ30), compatible with standard filter housings

Core Advantages for Brine Pretreatment

Strong Salt Corrosion Resistance: PE resists high salinity, acid and alkali, no swelling or degradation after long‑term immersion; service life is 3–5 times that of PP cotton. Depth Interception: Gradient pores (dense surface, loose interior), intercepts particles ≥1μm, prevents colloid breakthrough, reduces subsequent membrane fouling. Backwash Regenerable: Backflush with compressed air / clean water, flux recovery ≥80%, reusable 5–10 times, low operating cost. High Strength & Impact Resistance: Integrally sintered, pressure resistance ≥0.5MPa, withstands high‑velocity brine scouring, not easy to deform or crack. No Secondary Pollution: Pure material, no precipitation or dissolution, ensuring brine purity.

Application Flow of Brine Sedimentation Pretreatment

Brine → Natural Sedimentation (removes large sediment particles) → PE Sintered Filter Element (5–10μm, removes suspended solids / colloids) → Fine Filtration / Ion Exchange / Membrane System

Selection & Installation Guidelines

Rating Selection: 5μm for brine turbidity <50NTU after sedimentation; 10μm for turbidity 50–200NTU. Flow Matching: Recommended flow 1–3m³/h per 10‑inch element to avoid over‑velocity clogging. Installation: Install elements from top to bottom into the housing, ensure proper sealing to prevent bypass flow. Backwash Cycle: Backwash when differential pressure rises to 0.3MPa, 5–10 minutes each time.

Maintenance & Service Life

Service Life: 3–6 months under normal working conditions (depending on brine solid content); extended to 8–12 months with backwash maintenance. Cleaning: Clean water backflush → Soak in 5% hydrochloric acid (remove calcium‑magnesium scale) → Rinse with clean water → Dry for standby.

Customization Service

Non‑standard sizes (length, outer diameter), special ratings (0.5–200μm), skeleton reinforcement (pressure resistance ≥1.0MPa).
