Product Details

Bag filter element (for raw brine coarse filtration in salt lake lithium extraction) is used with stainless steel bag filter for the front-end coarse filtration of raw brine (salt production/chemical brine). It effectively intercepts sediment, salt crystal particles, suspended solids, algae and mechanical impurities, protects subsequent membrane/resin/evaporation equipment, and reduces the risk of clogging and corrosion.

Structure & Material (Salt Corrosion Resistance)

  • Filter Material: Polypropylene (PP)/Polyester (PE) non-woven fabric, deep gradient structure, resistant to brine, acid and alkali, temperature resistance ≤80℃.
  • Accuracy (Common for Coarse Filtration): 50μm / 100μm / 200μm (100–200μm recommended for brine coarse filtration).
  • Support/End Cap: Glass fiber reinforced PP, corrosion resistant and high strength.
  • Seal: Double O-ring (prevents brine leakage), compatible with standard bag filter (#2 bag universal).
  • Filtration Area: Approx. 0.5–1.0㎡/piece, large dirt holding capacity and long service life.

Working Principle

Pressure type outside-in filtration: Raw brine enters the filter cylinder under pump pressure and flows from the outside to the inside of the filter bag; large particles are intercepted on the surface, small particles are adsorbed deeply, and clean brine flows out from the central outlet. Replace the filter element when the pressure difference reaches 0.08–0.12MPa, easy to operate.

Installation & Maintenance

  1. Installation: Take out the old filter bag → put in the bag filter element → compress the sealing cover → start the machine and exhaust air.
  2. Maintenance: Replace when pressure difference reaches 0.1MPa; washable and reusable 2–3 times if lightly polluted.
  3. Notes: Avoid scratching the filter material with sharp objects; drain brine when shutdown to prevent crystal clogging.
