Product Details
Fiber mist elimination filter elements are internationally accepted high-efficiency gas–liquid separation mist removal devices, widely used in chemical, petrochemical, acid production, chlor-alkali, food processing and other fields. They efficiently capture submicron mist droplets to achieve deep gas purification, protect equipment, reduce emissions, and meet environmental protection and continuous production requirements.
Structure
The core consists of single or multiple candle-type mist elimination elements, made of inner/outer mesh cylinders plus a uniformly filled compressed fiber mat in the middle.
- Shell material: Alloy, thermoformed plastic, fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), suitable for different corrosive and temperature conditions.
- Fiber bed material: Fluorosilicone oil special glass fiber cotton, imported glass fiber, ceramic, PP, PTFE, polyester, etc., selected as required.
Working Principle
Mist-laden gas passes through the fiber bed. Mist droplets are captured by fibers via inertial impaction, interception and Brownian diffusion. Droplets continuously coalesce and grow, then collect and drain under the action of gas flow and gravity to achieve stable gas–liquid separation. After reaching liquid-holding equilibrium, it operates continuously and efficiently, with a maximum capture rate of 99.95% and above.
