Donaldson filter element also uses chemical ion exchange reaction to absorb acid substances in phosphate fire-resistant oil. The dry ion exchange resin filter element does not release metal ions and acid gel polyphosphates. The spherical ion exchange resin will not leak, and will not pollute the phosphate fire-resistant oil in the EHC system and can quickly filter the metal ions (Ca, Mg, Na, Fe) generated by the leakage of the original silica filter element (Fuller's Earth), activated alumina filter element (Activated Alumina) and modified diatomite filter element (Selexsorb) in the phosphate fire-resistant oil in the EHC system. The acid absorption efficiency of the ion exchange resin is 3.71 g of molecular acid/L, about 5-7 times higher than that of the Fuller's Earth filter element, and 3-4 times higher than that of the Activated Alumina filter element and the modified diatomite filter element. The dry ion exchange resin filter element can absorb the acid substances in the phosphate fire-resistant oil without releasing water to the EHC system, and it is standard size without adding the EHC system dehydration device or changing the system to directly replace the original filter element.
