Basically, hydraulic oil filter is a device containing three types of filter media layers, namely: metal, paper and micro glass elements. As hydraulic oil passes through the filter, it traps and removes particulate matter.As a result, it prevents ingress of foreign particles that may cause damage to hydraulic system.

Working Principle of Hydraulic Oil Filter

Hydraulic fluid serves a number of purposes in hydraulic systems. 

Undoubtedly, its core role is to transfer force to the actuators from the hydraulic power unit. However, it also does the following: 

· To keep the system surface lubricated to avoid friction on metal surface on each other. 

· Maintain a conducive temperature by transferring from one end to the other. 

· Seals the hydraulic system through adhesion and surface tension.
