Hydraulic pressure is a device or method that converts mechanical energy of power into fluid pressure energy by a hydraulic pump, operates an actuator such as a hydraulic cylinder or a hydraulic motor, and converts it back into mechanical energy.

Hydraulic oil filters filter impurities in hydraulic oil. If the hydraulic oil filter is not working properly, contaminants may be pressurized into the hydraulic system, causing damage or malfunction of the hydraulic unit, causing poor performance or leakage of the orifice, and locking.

Hydraulic oil filter elements are made by bending filter media made of wood fiber, synthetic oil, and glass fiber with steel mesh inside and outside to withstand strong hydraulic pressure.

Types of filters used in hydraulic systems

1. Inhalation filter: A strainer with a filtration grade of 25-240um is mainly used and is installed on the suction side of the pump.

2. Pressure Line Filter: The filter grade of 3 to 40 um is frequently used for installation on the pressure line, and the filter element must withstand a pressure of 6 kgf/cm2.

3.Return line filter:Install on return line of hydraulic circuit, filter oil returning to oil tank.The filter grade of the return filter is about 5 to 40 um.
