The KR1100-040 is a high-efficiency coalescing filter element (air-oil separator) specifically designed for industrial refrigeration screw compressor systems. It is widely used as a premium aftermarket or OEM replacement filter for heavy-duty cooling, chilling, and chemical processing plants.

Core Function: Placed inside the oil separator vessel to capture sub-micron oil mist from high-velocity discharge gas, preventing compressor oil from contaminating the downstream refrigeration circuit. 

Filter Media: Multi-layered, high-density borosilicate glass fiber (fiberglass) wrapped around reinforced stainless steel or galvanized perforated inner and outer support cages to handle high differential pressures.
